Information on Upcoming CPU Workshops 2001

 


Western Michigan Univeristy

The CPU team at Western Michigan Univeristy is doing three workshops in Summer 2001. Because these workshops are being funded by the State of Michigan, the WMU team can probably only pay stipends for Michigan participants. They might be able to supply a seat for out-of-state participants on a space available basis.

Saginaw Valley State Univeristy

The Northeast Michigan team at Saginaw Valley State University will be offering a one week CPU session on the topic Waves and Sound from Monday, June 18 - Friday, June 22 at SVSU. Each day's session will run from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Graduate education credits are available through SVSU.

Rockhurst Univeristy

The Kansas City team will be offering a two week CPU session on the topics Waves and Sound and Light and Color from Monday, June 11 - Friday, June 22 at Rockhurst University. Participants will receive an equipment kit for Waves & Sound (including a Lab Pro and microphone) and a Light & Color kit.

Three graduate physics credits are available through Rockhurst.
