This update to the Underpinnings Unit corrects the miselabled header in the Idea Journal in the Representing Measurement Cycle. Replace Representing Measurement PP.doc in the Paper & Pencil version of the cycle with the file of the same name. Replace Ideal Journal Measurement.doc in the Computer version of the cycle with the file of the same name.

The first Nature of Matter Unit update corrects six simulator set-ups. We have separate downloads for PCs and Macintosh users. PC users will download a self-extracting WinZip file, while Macintosh users will download a self-extracting Stuffit file.

Addendum (June 28, 2000). On June 28, we discovered that one set-up from included in the first update, Act III-D4 Sim 2, still contained an error (the heater was not turned on).

We corrected the set-up and replaced the Act III-D4 Sim 2 set-up in the two downloads above. If you downloaded the first update after June 28, you're OK. You don't need to download the second update below.

However, if you downloaded the first Nature of Matter update before or on June 28, you need to download this second update.
